Does Funky Friday Support Controllers?

Yes—Funky Friday controller support lets console players hit notes with the D-pad or XYBA buttons. Your controls matter when you're keeping up with a rhythm battle, so start with those inputs before adjusting your layout.

The console controls are:

• D-pad: Directional pad inputs.
• XYBA: The X, Y, B, and A face buttons.

Try both input options on a familiar song to decide which feels more comfortable.

Where to Find Keybind Settings

Keybinds and arrow skins are now under Settings. If you remember opening arrow customization through the upper-left arrow icon, start in Settings instead.

For keyboard play, the customization tools let you edit bindings for individual lanes and key modes. The default 4 Keys bindings are A or Left Arrow, S or Down Arrow, W or Up Arrow, and D or Right Arrow.

To edit keyboard bindings in the arrow customization tools:

1. Select the Customize tab.
2. Choose the key mode you want to edit, such as 4 Keys, 5 Keys, or 6 Keys.
3. Select the arrow you want to change.
4. Open its Keybinds subtab. The left panel handles adding bindings; the right panel lists active bindings.
5. Use Delete beside an active binding to remove it.
6. Select Save to keep your changes, or Reset to restore defaults.

Select the key mode you actually play before making changes—the customization menu separates layouts by mode.

Customize Arrows and Save Presets

Arrow customization also gives you control over how notes look. Alongside Keybinds, the Customize tab includes:

• Color: Hue, saturation, color value, and transparency.
• Style: Arrow animation, direction, and art style.
• Settings: Arrow speed, arrow size, lane offset, and height offset.

The separate Notes tab handles the color and art style of Death and Poison Notes.

Save a preset after adjusting your arrows so you can equip that configuration again:

1. Open the Presets tab.
2. Select the key mode whose configuration you want to save.
3. Enter a name beneath Enter Preset Name.
4. Select the green Save button.

Use Equip beside a saved preset to apply it. Use Delete beside a preset when you want to remove it from your saved list.
