How to Use a Decal ID in Funky Friday
A Funky Friday animation decal id lets you change the picture used by the Riot Shield or Screenshot animation. Paste your decal ID into Decal ID in the animation settings to use that image. Keep it separate from the character ID fields, which customize the extra characters in certain animations.
For either animation, the setting to look for is Decal ID. It accepts the decal you want to display as the animation’s picture. Choose your image around the animation you’re customizing: a picture for Riot Shield changes its visual identity, while Screenshot gives you another way to feature an image.

Decal IDs vs. Character IDs
The animation settings include different fields for pictures and characters. Match the ID to the element you want to change:
Image: Roblox / Lyte Interactive
- Decal ID: Sets the picture used by Riot Shield or Screenshot.
- Secondary Character ID/Name: Accepts a Roblox username or user ID for an animation’s secondary character. In Ghost Twins, this replaces Marie.
- Tertiary Character ID/Name: Accepts a Roblox username or user ID for an animation’s tertiary character. In Triple Trouble, this replaces Soul Egg Man.
Use the character fields when you want a particular Roblox avatar alongside you. Use the decal field when you want a picture on a supported animation.
What the Animation Customization Pass Offers
The Animation Customization pass costs 399 Robux. Its features cover equipping multiple animations and adjusting their presentation.

| Feature | Customization |
|---|---|
| Multiple animations | Equip multiple animations |
| Animation speed | Change animation speed |
| Animation size | Change animation size |
| Animation rate | Change animation rate |
| Animation shake intervals | Change animation shake intervals |
Choose the pass for these controls when you want to customize more than an animation’s picture.
Keep Your Customization Easy to Play With
Keep the note lanes readable while choosing your animation setup. If a large or busy animation pulls your attention away from incoming arrows, switch to something less distracting.

For additional control over movement, the gameplay settings include Instant Animation Snapping, which removes transitions between idle and directional poses, and Hold Animation Shake, which toggles shaking during holds. Adjust those effects to suit how you like animations to move.
If the camera follows your animation in a distracting way, turn off Toggle Camera Directional Movement. That lets you address the camera motion while keeping your chosen visual setup.
